AFFIRMATIVE

FORMA: Los verbos regulares en el Pasado Simple terminan en -ed.
[TODOS LOS SUJETOS + VERBO+ED + RESTO DE LA FRASE]

Julia walked home yesterday.
We played football 2 days ago.

SPELLING

Los verbos que terminan en -e solo necesitan -d:
live/lived.

En los verbos que terminan en consonante+y, cambia la y a una i: carry/carries try/tried

NOTA: El pasado simple con frecuencia se utiliza con los adverbios:
yesterday, last week/month/year/ a... ago.

FORMA: [SUJETO + DID NOT/DIDN'T + VERBO + RESTO]

They did not call me last week.
Robert didn't study for the exam.
